Interactive Portrait - Specialmoves
Digital Shoreditch 2013
As part of Digital Shoreditch 2013, we designed and built an interactive installation for the Great Digital Exhibition. Our proposal for an interactive portrait was accepted by Digital Shoreditch organisers as part of a juried exhibition and built specifically for this event within a 6 week period by our team of in-house designers and developers.
The interactive portrait uses the latest gesture-control and facial-recognition technologies to engage and surprise visitors to the exhibition. Combining the experience of print and digital media, it is an interactive encounter which challenges the audience’s expectations of a framed photograph, whilst reflecting the sense of history emanating from the space in which it is installed.
The portrait joins a small number of other interactive digital installations in Shoreditch Town Hall basement from May 20th-31st.
